Talked with my mom about the Mensa thing last night. She said to go for it. I'll see if I have test scores that get me in next week. Won't find out for a while, but I'll get the ball rolling. Went out last night and had a little fun, but I paid for it this morning. The morning passed by pretty quickly, but the afternoon dragged. Finally home, though.
Trying to figure out where to go tonight: the age-appropriate place that will likely cost more or the 'younger' place that may be more fun. Sigh. Might do both. Not sure what I'm going to do during the day tomorrow, other than work out and go see Mission Impossible (in the morning)...oh yeah, and watching the UConn women. I'm happy to not have the massive cleaning job in front of me that I had last week. That's all I've really got for today.

I think you should go for it (Mensa)! I had to google it, didn't know what it was but after looking at their website it looks very impressive. Did you take the pre-test the have available on their website?
@babysgirl23 - I think it'll be a good thing to have on the resume, if nothing else. I'm also interested to see what type of community service they do.
Didn't take the pre-test...didn't want to risk possibly failing it (even though I've always done pretty well with online IQ tests). I'm hoping my test scores exempt me from having to take the actual entrance exam. Going to call my HS Monday to get my records and see how they stack up.
