Thursday was pretty much a normal day. There's a bit of a snag in an upcoming project, but I'll just have to see how it works out. Actually got to see the last 18 seconds of the UConn game, which was cool. Oh: I also found the very pretty Sara Walsh on Twitter. That about covers Thursday.
Friday was a normal day until I went to the baseball game...well, I got to the stadium after listening to a friend of mine on the phone. Got to the gate and the guy told me my student ID was invalid. Um, excuse me? I've had the same card since I started at this accursed school. Used said card Tuesday - as in three days earlier - to get in. Use it everywhere. Now I have to get a new card because you say so and Officer Friendly is next to you? And then it got worse when he tried to patronize me by saying he'd let me in (in that tone of voice that clearly showed his idea that he was doing me some kind of favor). Had it not been for Friendly, I'd have lost it. At the very least I should have chirped a little more. Instead I walked right on in...and then walked right out the other side of the stadium. Never even sat down. Came back here and did the usual Friday evening stuff.
Woke up yesterday morning and listened to Music Choice instead of 99 Jamz. Cleaned the bathroom and that was actually it. Not much else to do. There was a Daria marathon until 4, which was great. Caught up on new music, which wasn't great. There is nothing out right now....which is why that music column on the right hasn't changed.
Then 6:00 came, and the great night began. Kansas beat Texas, and then UConn won their fifth game in five nights to win the Big East championship over Louisville. Not the best game, but it was close and suspenseful. Somehow I was still able to get into the club free...and I saw an amusing little fight in the parking lot. Grambling's track team was in the building, and let's just say I was reminded that Louisiana has a lot of talent. These local strippers were mad that the Grambling women were getting all the props so they did all kinds of "hater" things, including pouring drinks on the Grambling women. Thankfully it didn't get any worse than that. I'm sure they deal with locals so they probably knew what it was. Then the strippers decided to get on the "shone pole" for a second. After that some women who were actually pretty got up there and the night ended rather well. Went grocery shopping afterward and was actually done in 15 minutes. I looked at my phone like it was crazy when I saw the time as I was leaving.
Today, not too much on deck other than watching college basketball...and washing clothes and washing the car.
