  • Oh, Xanga...there is so much to tell. Problem is I'm tired from working out, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to tell it. Ah, I'll try to tell it and see how far I get. Well, Sunday I left home and my cousin and I talked about all kinds of stuff on the road. Politics, life, family, whatever. Drive was decent until we got halfway between Orlando and Ocala. We caught all kinds of traffic there and it continued pretty much through Gainesville. On I-10 my ex zoomed past us (my cousin was driving: she wouldn't have passed me, I promise you). Got back here and got some food - he has this thing for Hungry Howie's - and watched the football game before I went to sleep.

Monday was my first day at work, which thankfully didn't start until 11. First day was alright...the lady in human resources is so fine. I work with an attractive woman too, but the lady in HR is something serious. Day went alright. Nothing much on the homefront...Tuesday was a little more involved, as I got there at my normal time of 8:30. Had this huge project that I couldn't finish until this morning. If I drove to work I'd have stayed and finished, but my cousin (who had my car so he could get around) was there at 5:30. Today was a bit more difficult because I somehow let myself get pulled into working while off the clock. Please believe that won't happen again: my lunch hour will be spent outside the office.

Overall, I like my job (oh, didn't mention: I'm a temporary legislative assistant with a law firm). It's not as much fun as my internship at NASW, but it's alright. Almost forgot: the women in office services are serious too. Scenery is quite nice, although I try not to look because I'm new and all. Now that I'm back in the working world I can't wait until the weekend when I get to sleep...although I won't be sleeping here. I'll be in Albany for the weekend.

I keep forgetting stuff...I love my phone. It is so great. The TV and radio options - both of which I used at work today - are the business. I need to put some songs on it: maybe I'll get to that tomorrow. And last but not least, "never" became a few days. My dad and I talked yesterday about a few things. He said he really wants to try to work on things, which he's never said before. We'll see how it works. Okay, as I expected I pretty much covered everything even when I didn't much feel like typing. See y'all tomorrow.
